A Continuation/Budget Meeting was held on June 10, 2020 at the Stovall Town Hall at 7:00 pm.

Board Members Present: Commissioner Dale Hughes, Commissioner Doug Lunsford Jr., Commissioner Carl Roberts, Commissioner Ricky Sneed, Commissioner Mike Williford
Clerk Present: Sandra B. Williford
Tax Rate: Commissioner Michael Williford made a motion that the tax rate remain at .49 cents per one hundred evaluation. Commissioner Ricky Sneed seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
General Fund: Commissioner Dale Hughes made a motion to accept and approve the 2020 – 2021 budget as submitted. Commissioner Carl Roberts seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Water/Sewer Fund: The proposed water/sewer budget includes a 10% increase in water rates with Commissioners expecting an increase in Oxford’s rates. Commissioner Dales Hughes stated he wasn’t for an increase unless a permanent maintenance plan was put in place within six months. Commissioner Williford stated that a maintenance plan is something that should always be in place. Commissioner Williford made a motion to approve the water/sewer budget containing a 10% increase in water rates. Commissioner Lunsford seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Adjournment: There being no further business, Commissioner Ricky Sneed made a motion to adjourn. Commissioner Williford seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
