The Board of Commissioners held a regular monthly meeting on September 14, 2021 at the Stovall Town Hall at 6:00 pm

Invocation: Commissioner Sneed began the meeting with an opening prayer
The Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on September 14, 2021 at 6:00 in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room in Stovall, NC
Purpose: Frazier and Frazier, William Frazier, 7681 Harts Cross Road, Oxford, NC 27565 and Reid Fawcett, Elcan and Associates, Inc. 2862 Dauplin St., Mobile, Alabama, 36606 have requested an amendment to the Official Zoning Map of the Town of Stovall to rezone and combine 102 Hwy. 15 N. and 100 Cedar Lane from RA to HC. The amendment has received a favorable recommendation from the Stovall Planning Board.
Public Hearing: Mayor Parrott opened the Public Hearing
Zoning Map Amendment: The Stovall Planning Board has a recommendation to amend the Stovall Zoning Map to rezone and combine parcels 102 Highway 15 North and 100 Cedar Lane from RA to HC.
Public Comment: Mayor Parrott opened the Public Hearing for comments. There were no public comments.
Zoning Map Amendment Approval: Commissioner Williford made a motion to accept and approve the recommendation from the Planning Board to amend the Stovall Zoning Map to rezone and combine parcels 102 Hwy. 15 North and 100 Cedar Lane from RA to HC. Commissioner Sneed seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Public Hearing Closed: Commissioner Williford made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Commissioner Sneed seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
